About COPENHAGEN PRIDE
Copenhagen Pride is a human interest organization which strives to create visibility and equality for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals in Denmark.
The organization creates visibility via its annual festival where we celebrate lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals with a week of culture, politics and parties.
Copenhagen Pride welcomes all sexualities, sexes, ages, ethnicities and religions. The organization co-operates with other organizations and interest groups in order to achieve equality and tolerance in the areas where lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals are still discriminated against by the rest of society.
Copenhagen Pride 2009 takes place in Copenhagen from 24 July to 2 August 2009.

Vision
Copenhagen Pride will help to create equality and visibility for LGBT community in Denmark.

Mission
Copenhagen Pride will help to create equality for homo-, bi-and transsexuals in Denmark. We create visibility through our annual festival where we out the LGBT community, through a week of festive and cultural spots where we welcome all regardless of sexuality, gender, ages, religions and etnicities. We also arrange year-round events such as films and debates, and participating in events related to LGBT community. We work with associations, groups and organizations, and the LGBT community to achieve tolerance in those areas where we still are not equivalent to the rest of society.
